Objective - To provide information about science and ethics
- To explain the rules of academic writing
- To provide students with the ability to make technical and academic presentations and to write effective reports
- Providing students with knowledge and understanding of project management and risk management, especially in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation,
- To ensure that students work in multi-disciplinary teams,
- To ensure that students have the necessary equipment and infrastructure for their graduation projects.
Content Week 1: Entrepreneurship, project topics
Week 2 The effects and problems of new technologies and technology on health, environment and security in universal and social dimensions
Week 3: Research Processes, Scanning Databases, Preparing Research Reports: Correct citations, case studies
Week 4 Effective Presentation Techniques, project presentation flow examples, good and bad examples, content, visuals, common mistakes
Week 5 Professional Ethics, Engineering Ethics, Scope and ethical issues in scientific research and publication ethics
Week 6 Determination of the project topic and its content
Week 7 Project Management
Week 8 Project risk management and change management
Week 9 Midterm Exam

Course Learning Outcomes Students who successfully complete this course,
- explain the types of scientific ethics violations
- define the differences and similarities between the types of publications (papers, papers, posters, theses)
- Learn the issues to be considered in academic writing
- Learn to research using electronic databases, make detailed research and determine models to guide research
- Analyze models and draw scientific conclusions
- Present their research techniques, developed models, software and findings in Turkish and French.
- Identify the impacts of engineering practices on health, environment and safety in the social dimension.
- Learn to work in multidisciplinary projects.
