Objective Nowadays, both traditional tools and softwares are employed to design conventional graphic design products, motion graphics and interactive media. This course teaches how to visualize an idea and prepare a graphic design project through an appropriate production process. Firstly, lectures on graphic design will be given in order to provide the ability to analyze and evaluate graphic design products. Simultaneously the students will learn how to use two different types of –vector and pixel based- software by designing various graphica design projects.

Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the semestre, the students will have the knowledge to design graphic design projects, which answer defined needs. The students will learn graphic design history and know how to use two different graphic design software, which are widely used by the professional design sector.
