Objective The aim of this course is to convey how communication strategies can be used to direct individuals to the right health behavior, taking into account the public interest, and to gain knowledge and skills related to this field.

Course Learning Outcomes At the end of this course the student will be able to;

-Acknowledge health communication theories.
- Acknowledge methods of health communication and apply them in order to promote public health.
- Differentiate health as a distinctive field of service.
- Develop an interdisciplinary perspective.
- Acknowledge medical deontology and also media ethics and apply them in health communication.
