Objective This course provides a comprehensive examination of the process of the European economic integration and it focuses on the internal market and monetary union and its impacts on global economics. The main economic issues raised by the convergence of nations within the European Union are discussed and applied the relevant political concept and economic theories.

be familiar with the European integration process,
understand the meaning of the monetary union for a succesful internal market,
identifiy and describe the reasons behind the current problems uncountered on the contexte of economic crises.
