Objective Socio-economic evolution of the Ottoman Empire and Turkey (19th-20th centuries)
Content The first half of the course provides an overview of socio-economic and institutional developments during the 19th and 20th centuries. The second half of the course focuses on specific topics, with presentations based on research articles.

Put into perspective and compare the articles presented and discussed.
