Objective The aim of this course is to give the students a thorough knowledge of the recognition and succession of States, the peaceful settlement of international disputes, the prohibition of use of force in international relations, the diplomatic and consular law, the law of international responsibility, the basic concepts of international criminal law and the basic concepts of international law of the sea.
Content
Course Learning Outcomes 1. Students have knowledge of the rules concerning recognition and succession of States ;
2. Students have knowledge of the rules concerning the peaceful settlement of international disputes;
3. Students have knowledge of the prohibition of use of force in international relations ;
4. Students have knowledge of diplomatic and consular law;
5. Students have knowledge of the law of international responsibility;
6. Students have knowledge of the basic concepts of international criminal law;
7. Students have knowledge of the basic concepts of international law of the sea.
