Objective The objective of this course is to familiarize students with basic concepts of Energy modes and its relation with the environment
Content Week 1. Introduction to the concept of energy and environment

Week 2,3 and 4. The fossil energy

Week 5,6. The Renewable energy

Week 7. The relationship between the energy modes and the environment

Week 8. The nuclear energy

Week 9. Global warming

Week 10,11. Use of energy in different industries

Week 12,13. Energy concept in Turkey and the world

Week 14. Energy politics in different firms
Course Learning Outcomes This course will provide to;

1. Have knowledge of the concept of energy

2. Have knowledge of the concept of environment

3. Be able to evaluate the relationship between the environment and energy

4.Have knowledge of the energy efficiency
Teaching and Learning Methods Leading to create an inactive course with students.For this purpose,after giving the basic "energy" and "environment" concepts,putting on course's material actual subjects concerning energy or environment problems in the country or around the world.
