Objective This cours aims at providing students basic knowledge about development and growth within economic thinking with refrence to the cases of developping economies.
Content The course will begin with an overview of the economic theory from the viewpoint of development and growth. After the presentation of main models and different approaches, some case studies will be discussed and the course will end with a discussion on a possible rethinking of development perspective
Course Learning Outcomes 1. A correct understanding of the basic concepts, the theoretical framework, different approaches and current discussions on economic development and growth
