| Objective |
Aim of this course is to gain knowledge about necessary theoretical base, improvement process of various theories and their practices for the students who will specialize in any field of film industry. In addition, to teach valid theories about film critique that is usually a determining element of production and evaluation process of a film and to provide a base about application of critique against various channels are also included in the aims of this course. |

Students - have the basic theoretical knowledge to do a scientific research in the field of cinema and to work in this field a. describe the relations between cinema field and other social sciences and disciplines b. know various film theories, their original characteristics and classify them - applies various film theories a.apply theoretical approaches in film production / development process b.know researches done from the viewpoint of different theories -evaluate film criticism theoretically a.analyse a film criticism in the context of theoretical approaches. b.evaluate and classify film criticism in terms of target group and channel. c.compare different film criticisms about a film. write a film criticism. |
