Objective -To guide students in conducting original research in the field of semiotics, and to provide consultancy in producing a text as a result of their research.
Content -Theoretical and applied research methods in the field of semiotics and the process of transforming research into a text.
Course Learning Outcomes To possess theoretical and conceptual knowledge in the fields of literary semiotics and translation semiotics
To be able to formulate a research topic in the field of semiotics
To be able to conduct analyses in the field of semiotics
To be able to understand the meanings produced by the signs that constitute the meaning universe of a literary text
To discover the implicit meanings hidden in the fabric of a literary text
Teaching and Learning Methods Identifying the theoretical approach and concepts that will frame the student's research through readings from semiotics literature
Discussing and evaluating options with the student regarding the selection of the text(s) to be examined in the research
Drawing a roadmap for the research together with the student
Providing guidance during the thesis writing process
Reading the research text that the student has begun to create and correcting it with feedback
Working on argumentation for the final version
