Objective To prepare the students to international studies by presenting basic concepts, theoretical approaches, mainly the problem of level of analysis, analysis tools through the international historical framework.

Course Learning Outcomes 1. To explain the evolution of international relations methodology
2. To define the international system and actors
3. To achieve analyses taking into account the level-of-analysis
4. To place the emergence of analysis tools in the historical framework
5. To define the major differences between international relations theories
Teaching and Learning Methods This is a lecture course.
