The objective of the course is to familiarize the students with different approaches, tools and principles of strategic management.
Upon successful completion of the course the student should be able:
1. to address different theories and practices of strategic management with a critical stance.
2 .to conduct environmental analysis.
3. to assess strategic groups and critical success factors.
4. to perform a value chain analysis and functional analysis.
5. to prepare a TOWS matrix by taking into consideration the characteristics of the company and environmental factors.
