Objective | This course aims at studying international conflicts that could not be resolved in international politics from the Cold War period to the present. The conflicts between states and possible solution scenarios for the current problems are discussed within a conflict management perspective. |
Content | While discussing the examples of frozen conflicts, the main problems between the parties, the periods of armed conflict and the processes of learning to live together with the problem are discussed in each conflict. Thus an introduction to the discipline of conflict resolution is made through possible resolution scenarios. |
Course Learning Outcomes | The students enrolled to this course are acquainted with the discipline of conflict resolution, which is becoming more and more important as a master's degree program, while reinforcing the knowledge gained in the international policy course. |
