The aim of this course is giving the student a knowledge about different sociological approaches and methods by which the social phenomena is explained. In this course, key theories and theorists will be discussed. |

| Course Learning Outcomes |
After the end of this course, the student will have the ability of: - Naming the basic theories/ theorists of socilogy as well as the key works of the field. - Defining basic concepts in the frame of different approaches. - Classifying sociologists and concepts in the frame of varying theories. - Making a corelation between theory and practice - Comparing theorists and their theories - Questioning the social by means of basic theories. |
