Objective To critique narrative characteristics focusing on autobiography and autofiction across genres.
Content To learn narrative genres, characteristics modes and the relationship between author and narrator emphasizing autobiographical and autofictional writing and the application of these to literature works.
Course Learning Outcomes To answer the question, what is "literary critism" and explain its contribution to art, literature and personnel education
Teaching and Learning Methods After 7 or 8 weeks of foundation in literary theory, students will be able to apply this knowledge to the work of well loved french authors like Jean-Paul Satre, Georges Perec, Annie Ernaux....
