Objective | In this course, it is aimed that students learn about alternative media opportunities that cannot find a place in the mainstream media, and to adopt requirements of journalism that respects gender, racial, cultural and religious differences which can mostly be discussed in the alternative media. |

Course Learning Outcomes |
At the end of this course, the student shall: -Learn about alternative media opportunities which stand with the a liberalizing and participating attitude against traditional media that continually globalises and loses its polyphony in national markets, -Learn about the facilities provided by technology for alternative media, -Learn about discriminative attitudes observed frequently in traditional media with examples and be able to develop a critical point of view, -Learn about how to battle against discrimination in media and the requirements for a journalism that is respects human rights. |
