Objective The goal of this course is to equip students in the social sciences with fundamental understanding and abilities in analyzing quantitative data using SPSS software.
Content Students will develop the necessary skills to build a database in the software, conduct descriptive and predictive analyses, choose appropriate statistical tests and models for data analysis, and generate statistical graphs and tables. The course incorporates practical, interactive laboratory sessions enhanced by weekly case studies.
Course Learning Outcomes Being able to create a database using SPSS.
Being able to apply descriptive and inferential tests using a database.
Being capable of interpreting the results of descriptive and inferential statistical tests.
Being able to conduct statistical tests on secondary data.
