Objective The objective of this course is to examine the problems that arise due to the use of the Internet and the offenses committed on the Internet and to assess responsibility.
Content Legislation, court decisions and legal problems related to internet law will be examined.
Course Learning Outcomes 1. List the concepts and institutions related to Internet Law and the relations between these concepts and institutions.
2. To be aware of the legal regulations, judicial decisions, their development and scientific evaluations related to the Internet.
3. Identify the relationship between developing technology, the Internet and law and monitors, examines, interprets, evaluates and criticizes current legislative texts, judicial decisions and scientific sources in the field with the methods provided by legal methodology.
4. List the problems encountered in the practice of Internet Law.
5. Solve the legal problems encountered in the practice of Internet Law.
6. Learn to inform the relevant persons and institutions on issues related to Internet Law; conveys his/her thoughts and suggestions for solutions to problems in written and verbally.
7. Defend and protects the character of the Republic of Turkey as a democratic, secular and social state of law based on the fundamental principles set forth at the beginning of the Constitution, respectful to human rights, loyal to Atatürk's nationalism, within the peace of society, national solidarity and sense of justice.
8. Have the honesty, justice and ethics required by being a lawyer.
9. Have the ability to try to ensure that concrete disputes are resolved fairly, follow legal regulations and have the infrastructure to take part in the judicial process within this framework.
10. Have competence in perceiving and solving legal problems in terms of the law that is and should be, having internalized the universal principles of law.
