Objective |
Competition Law is a dynamic legal field that is steadily developing and influencing all sections of Private Law. The aim of the course is to inform the students who will deal with both Private Law and Public Law, how the competition system functions and how legal regulations with mixed character are applied. For this purpose, aside from the pluralistic legal mechanisms of Competition Law, the relation with various legal disciplines is also emphasized.

Content |
Basic concepts of competition law, private legal regime specific to enterprise, market, restrictive agreements theory, vertical agreements, concerted practices, abuse of dominant position, intensification and compensation.

Course Learning Outcomes |
is to ensure that the students of this course have the capacity to take into consideration the dynamics of Competition Law whenever they deal with a concrete legal problem in any field of law. In particular, it is aimed that the students who will work in the field of Private Law will meet the basic concept of Competition Law in order to analyze the legal effects of the contracts and the unfairness of the economic unfair facts.
