Objective It is necessary for practicum students to acquire practical, technical, administrative knowledge and experience in order to contribute to their education outside the academic curriculum, acquire practical experience of theoretical knowledge, and recognize the work life and employee-employer relations in a software company.
Content 1. Week Having knowledge about business: To learn activity area, products, share in sector, organization structure
2. Week Schematic study of computer network and hardware / software solutions in use
3. Week Examining databases, properties and database management systems used in business
4. Week Researching internet and intranet structure, internet usage and web site
5. Week Examining operating systems, software and their applications
6. Week Examine the routines and examples performed by the database and network administrator
7. Week Managing and reporting a project that is given by the business or selected by the student
8. Week Internship and general impressions about the company, reporting
Course Learning Outcomes 1. To have knowledge about the functioning and organizational structure of a company in the software sector.
2. To recognize the technologies, software production processes and methods used by this company.
3. Having knowledge about how the theoretical knowledge learned in lessons is applied.
4. To examine, design and implement the technical problems encountered in business and their solution methods.
5. To recognize the sector for career planning after graduation.
