To give a full detailed perspective on the political history of Turkish Republic and Atatürk’s Revolutions within the context of twentieth century politics. First semester: From Young Turk revolution down to end of Kemal Atatürk’s era. |

The student understands the political atmosphere in which the founding fathers of the Republic of Turkey were raised. The student understands the background of Turkish War of Independence and the political regime in this period. |
