Objective This course aims to teach the fundamental theories of corporate governance and offer a broad overview of corporate governance practices in several countries around the world.

Week 4: Governance Partners: Investors, Companies and Directors
Week 5: The board of directors and the supervisory board
Week 6: Corporate Social Responsibility

Week 8: Risk Management and Internal Control
Week 9: The specific case of the family business
Week 10: Daily governance
Week 11: Diversified practices in Europe and in the world
Week 12: Corporate Governance in the United States
Week 13: Corporate Governance in Turkey
Week 14 : Alternative models of corporate governance and new regulation of capitalism

• The differences between a board of directors and a supervisory board
• How to compose a board of directors
• The different applications of corporate governance around the world
