-The students will acquire substantial knowledge on the recognition of States in international law -The students will be informed on other forms of recognition (governments, national movements of liberation, belligerency...) -The students will learn about the concept of succession and its effects in international law -The students will learn about the theory of continuing state in international law and discuss the legal relationship between the Ottoman Empire and the Turkish Republic |
