Heat energy in chemical reactions. Rate of reactions. Equilibrium. Acids and bases. Physical and chemical properties of seawater. Corrosion and corrosion control. Sea paints. Fuel and oil chemistry. Fuel and oil types and properties. Hazardous substances. Sea pollution.
