Objective In the context of this course, the sociological and theoretical knowledge of the consumer society and of the information society will be discussed. Evolution of the cultural products in consumption and communication societies will be examined, as well as recent intellectual contributions about how the media makes possible the consumption of culture and the consumption of all kind of commodities, will be discussed.
