Objective The aim of this class is, after outlining the concept of the principle of equality, to discuss how different juridictions like Constitutional Court, Court of Cassation, Council of State, Court of Auditors and European Court of Human Rights use and interpret the said principle in cases concerning economic law.
Content Concepts of the principle of equality and the prohibition of discrimination; study of the case law of Constitutional Court, Court of Cassation, Council of State, Court of Auditors and European Court of Human Rights about the principle of equality
Course Learning Outcomes Learning about the major approaches to the principle of equality and the prohobition of discrimination, gaining insight on how different jurisdictions interpret the principle of equality, being able to examine cases in the framework of the principle of equality
