Objective | The aim of this course is to provide students information and skills which are necessary for companies to have a healthy and effective communication with their internal and external publics in today’s global, competitive and multi-cultural business environment. |

Course Learning Outcomes |
At the end of this course students are expected to 1. Realize the importance as well as methods and media of internal and external communication for businesses. 2. Understand the positive and negative effects of globalization on the processes, methods and media used in business communication. 3. Evaluate the concepts of e-economy with its implications for business communication. 4. Have an awareness of cultural values and differences in business world. 5. Identify factors impeding intercultural communication in multi national/cultural companies and define what can be done to overcome them. 6. Asses the qualities of interactive and social media and how they can be used for the purposes of business communication. 7. Explain and analyze controversial issues in terms of business communication ethics in different situations. |
