Content

Objective

Main course of the discipline of IR, the goal is to present to the students a very wide basement of the fondamental concepts.

Course Content

Discussions on the attributes of the State-actor, the principal actor of the IR, from sovereignty to legitimacy, main mechanisms to regulate the IR, foreign policy analysis and decision making process, a general evaluation of the political history.

Course Learning Outcomes

Perfectioning on the political history reading and on the use of main concepts onto the international events

Teaching and Learning Methods

Interactive presentation of the course - writing of homeworks to strengthen the use of principal concepts
