To study the importance of Francophone literature, the contribution of this literature to French literature and to explain why it has been labelled "world francophone literature".

Teaching and Learning Methods

To analyse the characteristics of north african Francophone literature particularly in regards to space, identity and otherness in these novels. Further to look at common themes especially autobiography and autoficton.
