Explaining the notion of gender, discussing the gender roles in society and figuring out the affects of these on law.

Course Learning Outcomes

1. List the concepts and institutions related to Gender and Law and the relationships between these concepts and institutions.
2. Be aware of the legal regulations regarding Gender and Law, the decisions of the judicial bodies, their development and scientific evaluations regarding them.
3. Determines the relationship between Gender and Law and monitors, examines, interprets, evaluates and criticizes legislation texts, judicial decisions and scientific sources in the field with the methods provided by legal methodology.
4. List the problems encountered in legal practice in terms of gender.
5. It solves the legal problems encountered in gender practices.
6. Informs relevant individuals and institutions on issues related to Gender and Law; He/she conveys his/her thoughts and solution suggestions to the problems verbally and in writing with justification.
7. Uses information and communication technologies along with computer software at least at the Advanced Level of the European Computer Usage License required by the field of law.
8. Follows information in the field of law and communicates with colleagues by using a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level.
9. It defends and protects the nature of the Republic of Turkey as a democratic, secular and social state of law, within the understanding of social peace, national solidarity and justice, respectful of human rights, committed to Ataturk's nationalism, based on the basic principles stated at the beginning of the Constitution.
10. Has the understanding of honesty, justice and ethics required to be a lawyer.
11. It has the infrastructure to try to ensure that concrete disputes are resolved fairly, to follow legal regulations and to take part in the trial process within this framework.
12. Assimilated the principles of universal law; Has the ability to perceive and solve legal problems in terms of law.
