Objective The objective of this course is to make known to the students the concepts, the currents and the big authors of the political science. Besides the course aims that the students of communication are in a position to situate and link up the political one to their knowledge presented by of other courses.

Course Learning Outcomes - The student will know the basic concepts of political science.
- The student will know the actors of the political domain.
- The student will know the difference between different systems and political regimes.
- The student will be able to define different types of political participation.
- The student will identify different types of political culture.
- The student will differentiate a political fact of a social fact.
- The student will be able to evaluate the effects of the media in the political domain.
