Objective The main objective of this course is to familiarize participants with theory and empirical research in the fields of human resource management to discuss the application/contribution of HRM to the organizational performance

Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course, students should:
1- Understand impact of effective management of human resources on organizational strategies and outcomes.
2- Have knowledge on various competing HRM strategies, practices and methods.
3- Understand, follow and criticize contemporary HRM trends, issues and practices.
4- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of employee recruitment, selection, training and development, performance management and career management plans and processes.
5- Recognize practical problems in HRM functional areas and contribute to their solutions.
