Objective Introduction to probability theory
Content Counting techniques, conditional probability, univariate and multivariate continous and discrete random variables, fonctions of random variables, expected value and variance, Tchebychev Inequality, Law of Large Numbers, Central Limit Theorem
Course Learning Outcomes Ability to use counting techniques, to derive objective probabilty, to work with conditional probabilty and probaility distributions, to evaluate expected values and variances, to understand the probability implications of sampling and population.
