Objective The purpose of this course is to make an assessment of international commercial law and analyse the commercial and financial system with their different aspects and also to gain the ability to draft an international contract with various necessary clauses.
Content This course revisits the methods of payment and financing in international commercial law, the resolution of disputes in international commercial law and investment law and analyzes the typical contractual clauses.
Course Learning Outcomes At the end of the course the student will be able

- demonstrate knowledge of the principles of international commercial law

- recognize the legal aspects of international commerce; international institutions regulating international trade, the World Trade Organization (WTO), the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT); legal aspects of the international monetary system, IMF, World Bank; international regulation of foreign investments; protection of foreign investments; ICSID. International arbitration.
Teaching and Learning Methods The course is composed of lectures which discuss theoretical aspects and cases.
